All of the board members and other staff members of Lights Out, Green In are unpaid volunteers. The company pays no salaries and all donations are used to advance Lights Out, Green In's purpose of increasing awareness about the importance of conserving energy, encouraging citizens to turn off the lights in their homes and offices between the hours of eleven o'clock in the morning and one o'clock in the afternoon, and providing citizens with the tools and the knowledge to be more efficient consumers of energy.
